(Hybrid) Winter Solstice Yin: Into the Still, Quiet Spaces
Join us for a special candle lit winter solstice event to guide you into the still, quiet season of winter. In Chinese Medicine, the season of Winter is the season of the kidneys which govern our low back health, joint lubrication, fear of letting go and overall lack of trust. It is said that our kidneys house our essence energy (Jing). This essence energy guides much of our days, our energetic levels and even the emotional flavors we carry with us. Take time to move into inner quietude, notice where you are holding and learn to let go to find the nourishment held in hibernation and Wintering.
Cost: $24

Virtual: A Year of Rest & Play
Want to learn to follow the gentle rhythms of nature? How to rest and sleep without guilt or irritation? How to play when maybe you (like me) aren’t even sure what that means as an adult? Want to live your life more fully and connect with your inner knowing to live in a heartfelt way? Then join me, Liz, for a year-long gathering from the comfort of your home. Together, we can be curious, try new things, and maybe even find some joy!
Each year, we create a theme for our studio that follows the rhythms of nature. One thing I have noticed each year is how difficult it can be to “buck the system” and return to the natural order of things. This year, I am excited to offer a year-long offer dedicated to community healing. Let’s get inspired together and learn how the ripple effects of our tiny actions create powerful healing in the communities that surround us. Join us for the theme of 2024: Rest & Play.
(Play & Rest) New Moon Circle with Sonci
You're invited to join us for a New Moon Circle led by Sonci. The moon is a powerful and beautiful teacher. By connecting to her natural rhythms and wisdoms, we are able to more deeply connect to our own magic and inner wisdom. This offering includes Yoga Nidra (restful meditation), intention creation, and time for connection. Each circle is unique and has a special theme that we will explore together. All are welcome, no prior knowledge or experience necessary. Please dress cozy, come with an open heart, and a journal (optional). When we gather, magic happens!
Class size limited to 16 participants. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged. Due to the advanced preparation and supplies needed for this class, we will turn students away at the door if we are at capacity.

(Rest) Fall Retreat for Women of Color: Homecoming, Resting in Natural Presence
We have journeyed through another cycle of seasons and find ourselves now winding down, moving inward. We look forward to the coziness of fall and all it's offerings. There is so much the world still pulls at us to "do" and this is an opportunity to begin this season with ways to "be". Natural presence is the space where we find ourselves clear, aware, open and receptive. You will learn how to utilize skillfull means to return, or come back to natural presence. This is not about becoming a doormat, but rather an experiencial investigation with openness and compassion to process what is happening in and around you. We are returning to a restful embodied presence, back to self. The body is the bridge to self-regulation.
Light refreshments by local makers will be provided. Please bring a small object or photo that is meaningful for you.
Register by September 9th.
Sliding scale $50-$70 to attend.
Low Back Pain & Your Yoga Practice

(Play) Limitless: Level 3
When your practice is steady and you are ready to tap into your potential… come, join a group of dedicated students and teachers, and see what you are capable of. As we breathe and move together, we will (re)awaken the body and stir the soul. This is the place to you try things you’ve never tried before or find ease in a pose that has been been eluding you for years. Here we will refine patterns of movement to re-energize and stabilize the physical body, allowing the physical practices to culminate into moments of open, expanded awareness and clear seeing. This class will help you find the full expression of your yoga and rediscover that sense of being limitless: deep roots, wide wings, pure potential.
This is not a multi-level class, but a Level 3 and beyond. At times, the physical aspects may be the most challenging for you, and at others, it may be the mental or emotional practices that may be the challenge that day. Each class will be a little different. Please know that regardless of the higher level of learning, this room will continue to be a non-competitive space. We are all in this together. The Limitless practice is not about performing a pose, but about discovering the heart of practice so its effects thread throughout your daily life and into the world. Ironically, class size is limited to 15 people.
Regular class price to attend.

Kirtan with Erick Herlong & Friends
The word kirtan stems from a Sanskrit root that means to cut through. David Newman (teacher of kirtan) says kirtan is also "a practice for cutting through the idea of separation, for connecting to our hearts and connecting to the moment through sound."
Please join us for a blissful evening enjoying the Bhakti Yoga practice of Kirtan, a tradition of singing universal mantras in a call and response format. Bhakti yoga is one of the four main yogic paths to enlightenment. Bhakti means "devotion" or "love" and this path contains various practices to unite the bhakta with the divine. One of those practices, Kirtan is the most popular path in the west, as it invites everyone to participate in whatever way feels right for them. It only requires your showing up with an open mind and a joyful spirit. During the Kirtan we will blend our voices to create a deep sense of connection to something greater than ourselves, as we purify our hearts and liberate our souls with this ancient devotional practice.
Donations welcome.
