Join Anaya Crow, a new friend and teacher, for her first workshop at Greenville Yoga. Uncover the Power of Your Voice. No Experience Needed. Ready to feel more calm, balanced, and connected? In this gentle and supportive session, you’ll explore simple vocal toning (see below), easy mantras, breathwork, and intentional sound to help you relax, release stress, and feel more at home in your body.
Vocal toning is a simple yet powerful practice that uses your voice to create sustained vowel sounds (like "ah," "oh," or "ee") to support physical, emotional, and energetic well-being. It includes:
Sustained Sounds: You make long, steady tones—usually on a single breath—often with a specific focus or intention (like relaxation or heart opening).
Vibration & Resonance: As you tone, you can feel the vibrations in different parts of your body, which can help release tension and promote a sense of calm.
No Melody or Words: Unlike singing songs, toning isn’t about melody or lyrics. It’s about sound, breath, and feeling.
Intentional Practice: Toning is often used in meditation, breathwork, or energy healing practices to shift your internal state.
Vocal toning has been known to:
Soothe the nervous system
Balance energy or emotions
Improve focus and mindfulness
Enhance self-awareness and connection to the body
It’s accessible to everyone—no musical skill required. It's less about how your voice sounds and more about how it feels. Come and have a little fun while you try something new.
Cost: $25 ($20 for Inspired Path members)
