Are you currently navigating perimenopause and would like more guidance and support about the physical, emotional, and spiritual challenges - and opportunities -surrounding this phase of life? Would you like more information connecting the wisdom of yoga with the changes happening in your body?
I created this six week series because I have found yoga to be an essential companion to my perimenopause journey. In addition to the many physical benefits of yoga, your practice can help navigate the complexities of perimenopause with compassion and presence. Yoga helps with honoring and embracing your changing body, cultivating resilience, and establishing a deeper connection to self and spirit. I also believe in the power of shared experiences and collective wisdom amongst women and wanted to create a nourishing and empowering container for discussion, reflection, and connection.
During this 6 week series, we will explore yoga practice and tools to help minimize common symptoms/disrupters, calm the nervous system, and create more awareness and compassion around healthy lifestyle patterns. My hope is that you feel more supported, inspired, and excited about this transition, seeing perimenopause/ menopause as a powerful time of growth and transformation.
The yoga will be specifically tailored to support you with an emphasis on bone health/strength, hormonal balance, reducing inflammation, flexibility, and stress reduction. The practices will include movement, yin, restorative yoga, pranayama (breath work), meditation, reflection, and community connection.Handouts will be given at each session with reflection questions for journaling and self-inquiry. Each session will include small group sharing and connection. Together we can navigate this time with more grace, strength, and joy. I look forward to sharing this series with you!
Series is limited to 15 students. All Levels Welcome.
