Our New Location!

We are finally getting close enough to get a little more excited and share some details with each of you... It all began in 2019 when I had a feeling it was time to find a new location for our little yoga home. Our rent was increasing beyond what we could afford, hillside was falling down after hard rains, and it just seemed time for a new adventure. Thanks to Shannon Caldwell of NAI Furman (where Lynn leads weekly corporate yoga classes and has for almost seven years) we found the perfect place for us. Our new home is in Sans Souci- which means without worry or care. It is a neighborhood I had been watching for a while as I love the people, the diversity and it feels like a place we can truly create something special.

Gotta Go Tires October 2019

October 2019 we put an offer on the building- it was pretty run down, sitting on half an acre loaded with tires and old cars.

With some vision and help from our architect friends at Arcisan Designs, we came up with our concept seen here.

When we closed the deal March 2020, whoo knew that COVID would hit and we would have to pivot so quickly to keep our little school up and running?

Our new location is 3221 Old Buncombe Road- close to Swamp Rabbit Grocery and SunBelly Cafe.

We have the same size building as before but a few wonderul features. We have two garage doors to open for fresh air. We have a front and back patio for outdoor waiting areas. We have heated floors! Yes, heated floors! We have set the floors up with radiant steam heat under our floors… now you can truly let go in your final resting pose. And last, but not least, one of our dear yoga students is hand painting a mural on our building to welcome you to Sans Souci!

The contractors are working hard and have been since June. With any luck we will be ready to open our doors mid-November. Final flooring goes is last week of October and painting will be done first week of November if all goes according to plan. Everyone keep your fingers crossed and be on the look out for our opening day news!  We cannot thank you enough for your support of continuing to stream yoga online and hanging out in our open-air barn or at the TR Farmer’s Market. This has carried us and fulfilled us while our more permanant home is being renovated. Until then, we hope to see you on Zoom or at the Farmette soon.

With love ~ Liz
