Jill McBurney

Feel better. This is Jill’s approach to the multi-faceted discipline of yoga. Jill offers compassion, intuition, laughter, and a variety of yoga styles to invite practitioners toward a conscientious path of uniting mind, body, and spirit.

Numerous health issues led Jill to yoga in 2007. There she found appropriate guidance to ensure physical safety in her body, deep calm and personal concentration provided through focused breathing, and stillness essential for emotional acceptance and introspection. Yoga has been and continues to be a steadfast constant, an underlying foundation for clarity and ease in everyday life. Sharing this with others brings her much joy.

Trainings include 200 hours with Greenville Yoga in 2012, 300 hours at Asheville Yoga Center in 2014, 300 hours at the Daya Foundation (Portland, OR) in 2016. Registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT200 and a RYT500, she is a Level 2 iRest® Yoga Nidra Teacher and a Level 1 Relax and Renew® restorative teacher. Additional trainings include Love Your Brain (yoga for those who’ve experienced a traumatic brain injury) and Yoga4Cancer. Jill can be reached at jill.mcburney4@gmail.com.
