  • At Greenville Yoga, we love welcoming beginners or anyone looking for something “more.”  We understand that yoga can feel intimidating at first, and we’re here to support you every step of the way. Our seasoned teachers are experienced in working with all levels and will guide you safely through your practice.

You can start with any class — truly. Each teacher offers options and modifications, and our community is incredibly warm and welcoming.

We recommend purchasing our $20 New Student Pass, which lets you try multiple classes to find the best fit for your needs and schedule. Learn more on our New Student page.

  • Absolutely! Yoga is not about flexibility — it’s about awareness, breath, and connection. Flexibility comes over time, but it’s not a prerequisite. You’re welcome exactly as you are.

  • Our classes are held at a comfortable room temperature. On nice days, our doors are open to our garden out back so we can enjoy windchimes and birdsong. We do not offer hot yoga, but we do have heated floors which keep us nice and cozy in the winter.

  • We have restrooms where you can change clothes if needed, but we do not have showers on site.

  • Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend signing up online to reserve your spot — especially for smaller classes like Tai Chi or our more popular class times. View our class schedule and sign up here.

  • Thank you so much for your interest! We currently have a full staff, but occasionally we add substitute teachers or open up new time slots. Here's how to be considered:

    • Join us for classes regularly to see if the studio is a good fit for your style.

    • Introduce yourself to our teachers (especially Liz, who handles hiring).

    • If we feel aligned, we’ll invite you to join our sub list.

    • Sub requests are sent via app — you only respond if you're available.

    • If a spot opens and you're a good fit for that time / style, Liz will reach out to you first.

We value relationships and community, and we’re always looking for teachers who feel truly connected to our philosophy and our space.

  • We love collaborating with creative and intentional teachers. While we keep our workshop calendar focused to prioritize our in-house teachers, we do rent our space to like-minded professionals for events and workshops.

We also recommend reaching out to Lisa at Downtown Yoga Greenville. She is looking to host more workshops in her space.

If you're interested in studio rental, please email Blake (email below) for details and availability.
