For October’s meeting- Pulitzer-prize winning historian Jon Meacham sees John Lewis as one of our nation’s founding fathers—just as important and influential in our time as Thomas Jefferson and James Madison were in theirs. Lewis’ accomplishments as a congressman, his commitment to nonviolence, and his refusal to abandon hope can inspire all of us working for social and political change. Our anti-racism book club is open to all. We’ll discuss His Truth is Marching On: John Lewis and the Power of Hope on Sunday October 4 at 4 PM. Limited space available.
