We invite you to joins us Saturday, September 20th for our Emerald Anniversary which includes some (introvert- and extrovert-approved) human interaction to celebrate 20 years of Greenville Yoga!
When the GY teachers gathered for our summer Inspired Luncheon, our goal was simple: plan something truly special for you. Our first question was:
How do we want our students to feel after attending this party?
Here’s what we came up with:
CONNECTED – welcomed, seen, accepted, and belonging
LOVED – celebrated, remembered, and empowered
MAGIC – laughter, joy, inspiration, and radiance
…and (of course) that you simply had a good time!
Each week leading up to the party, we’re sharing our top three reasons why you won’t want to miss this event. With just two weeks to go, here’s reason number two:
LOVED 💖
At its core, this gathering is about love—the kind that shows up in quiet moments of support. The hugs. The shared laughter after class. The tears (joyous and otherwise). The hands held in stillness, and the knowing nods that say, “I see you.”
Over the past 20 years, this space has been so much more than a yoga studio. It has been a sanctuary. A family. A place where people feel seen, safe, and supported—exactly as they are. Our tagline, “You Belong Here,” is more than a slogan. It’s something we’ve lived, breathed, and practiced—together. And it’s what you have given me over these past two decades. Whether you’ve been a teacher or a student (near or far), you’ve shown me how to love myself at every stage of the journey.
At this celebration, it’s my honor to reflect that love back to you. When you walk into the Gathering, we hope you’ll feel that same sense of deep belonging and care—a reminder that you are cherished, not just for showing up on your mat, but for being part of this community with your whole heart. (And of course, the best way to share the love is with cake… obviously. 😉)
Earlier today, I sent an email to all of our former GY teachers (there are so many amazing folks on that list!), and my wish is the same for you:
Come as you are, stay as long as you’d like and let us celebrate the beautiful community you helped build.
