Blake Hedrick
Blake began her yoga journey in 2014 as a way to manage anxiety and depression. She heard it was helpful for mental and physical health, so she thought she might as well give it a try. It was not love at first class, but she enjoyed it and decided to keep at it. At first, it was hard. Learning poses. Not knowing names. Am I supposed to be inhaling or exhaling? It was a lot, but the more she went the more she loved it. And then one day, it felt like everything clicked. Her body, mind, and spirit connected. It was an amazing feeling that she had never felt before. She felt a love for herself and the ability to let go. It was the biggest light switch and she strives to guide others to that same feeling.
For Blake, yoga is about connecting to yourself and learning to love yourself. Blake’s classes create a space where you can let go of everything outside the four walls of the studio. She empowers you to listen to what you are feeling, physically and emotionally, and to listen to what you need in that moment. Blake’s classes are an ebb and flow of movement, stillness, strength, and softness. She believes in the power of the breath and its power to connect you to yourself and the present. Her classes are breath focused flows that will challenge you and help you become the best version of yourself.
Blake completed her 200 hr Yoga Teacher Training in 2018 and a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Science in 2015.
