As we emerge from our time of wintering, spring is a time to strengthen and cleanse before we move into the heat of summer. Spring is associated with birth, new beginnings and the element of wood. Honor the change of the season in this two hour Yin Yoga practice of deep hip openers. Move through a series of poses that support, strengthen and purify our bodies and their natural healing systems.
Yin Yoga is based on Five Element Theory which is a diagnostic and treatment tool in Traditional Chinese Medicine (think acupuncture and acupressure). TCM is based on natural cycles and the interrelationship of our environment and ourselves. Truly, you don’t need to know any of this. Just come and experience it for yourself.
