We do a lot of down dogs and a lot of planks in flow yoga.  Our wrists often take too much of the weight in these poses.  In the beginning it isn’t an issue, but after years of a dedicated practice; our wrists start to show some wear and tear.  Today I took class with Karen Lucas and she noticed people were heavy in the wrists in down dog.  It reminded me of this great visual for your yoga practice.  Hope it helps!
